i know you tried to make a spectacular play there but that was not a good call. i'm sure you now know that when one of the fastest players is running, there's no point taking a risk especially if your play might possibly lead to give up a run at a crucial moment and furthermore, that would eventually cost us the game and the series. you're only 23 and still an elite defender so i don't worry. it happens.
and hey, uh, do not bunt. before you're going to make that decision, you should be aware of who's up next. for today, clememt or hedges are the ones to do it and i think bunting in front of them is not a good idea. well it worked out thanks to richie who pinch-hit but i would like you to hit the ball hard as usual. i know you can swing it, so just swing the bat please.
so i've been following this team for like three weeks now and one thing that has stood out to me is that there is always someone stepping up when needed, and it's awesome to see them picking each other up day in, day out.
young team is doing young team things. they're going to make mistakes, they're going to miss the chances and those are the growing pain when you have a youngest team in the league. however making errors is part of a game of baseball and i'm totally fine with that as long as they learn from them and don't go on repeating the same ones.
the kids are alright. they play hard and they have such heart and grit. like i said yesterday, sometimes they play great and sometimes they play bad. i've started watching the guardians games because of one player, but now definitely the whole team is growing on me, and i am legitimately excited about the 2022 Cleveland Guardians. LETS F'N GO!
